Summary: There was little to say about this book, other than that it was disappointing to those who had recently read Hamnet. It was generally felt to be a formulaic soap opera, with shallow characters and numerous elements that didn't really make sense (you'd seriously just leave your girlfriend unconscious in the woods and not call to check how she is?) Despite this, most people enjoyed reading it, and everyone found the portrayal of the child with eczema to be touching.
